Creative is everywhere. I love the beginning of a project when I start looking for inspiration and design elements that will help me build the mood and look I am seeking to create. That typically means putting together a “mood board” that evokes the look/feel I am trying to create. Pinterest, despite it being a serious pain in many ways (more on that later) is pretty helpful for this particular task.
Over time, I’ve amassed 45 (!) boards and 828 pins, which, when I write it down, makes me feel like I’m doing nothing but staring at pretty pictures most of the time. And that would be true to say during a research phase of a work project, DIY house thingy, or a hypothetical interior design exercise.
So I thought it might be a good idea to give you a peek of the kinds of things I like to pin – you will likely see these serve as inspiration for my actual work (also documented on Pinterest, of course!)
